Learning to Juggle
The other day my boyfriend Gordon started to teach me how to juggle.
I've always understood the mechanics of it but I have never been shown how.
I'll admit I'm not going to be a master juggler in my life time.
But it's one of those things that is fun to know that you can do.
It got me thinking about other ways we juggle things.
Like life for instance.
There are so many facets of life that we have to juggle.
Family, relationships, friends, work, school, God, church, and those few interchangables.
It got me thinking that my lack of real life juggling skills may correlate to my life juggling skills.
I tend to drop the ball and eventually forget to do the mundane tasks that tend to consume our lives.
Especially laundry, I will drop that ball every time it gets thrown my way.
I hate the endless cycle that laundry is.
I digress.
Back to juggling life.
My thoughts are that if I gave God all the things that my life consists of and let Him do the juggling I would be much better off.
God with all his knowledge of the entire universe would do a far better job.
Sometimes I withold certain aspects and think that I can do a better job.
Why I would ever deceive myself into thinking that is beyond me.
We are so inadequate to run our own lives.
We pretend and think that we have it all together when in truth we don't.
Seems to me that we should all stop fooling ourselves into thinking that we can do anything better than the Creator of the universe.
Even if you happen to be a master juggler you won't be up to this task.
I suggest giving it all up to God because He has your best interests at heart.
Look to the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ and say "I need you to do what you do best. Save me from myself. Take over my life."
You will not regret it.
It is the best decision you will ever make in your whole life.
God wants you, He wants you to entrust your life with Him.
He made you, He made the world, why wouldn't you do it?
With that I'll leave with one thought, do you think God ever grabs up all the planets and juggles them for fun?
Farewell, Mariah :)
